I would really like to talk about art. I personally love drawing and art of all kind. It always gives me the chills and helps me feel free and happy. I recently read an article about how colours can change your mood. That is how you can express your feelings in art without words. We have arts of all kinds: paintings, web design, music, dance and many more. It is truly sad seeing that someone with an art degree is considered as “never finding a job” which is also not true! Nowadays you can easily get a job as for example a graphic designer. They are needed for magazines, advertisements and all kind of other visual work. So please appreciate a designer’s work because they put a lot of effort and love in their work. Have a good night J

Let’s talk about sex. Everyone is making a big deal out of this physical activity, but is it really that important? First of all there is this hype about losing your virginity. Many teenagers dream of it as a perfect moment with your special loved one. But seriously, how many of you guys actually found their first time as sparkling and shining as the stories tell? Just a few for sure. Will it hunt me for the rest of my life if it wasn’t good? Probably not. Can you remember eating pizza for the first time? I can’t ,even though pizza is one of the best food my tongue tasted! So it is kind of the same with sex. You can also have a lot sex with many guys or girls or just with the person you love. You should also not be afraid to experience and have fun. Just don’t forget the condoms!

canada here i come!

I’ve written about so many political topics and decided to share a more personal post. I really adore visiting other places and my constant mood is wanderlust. And this summer I am finally going to Canada! Since we have relatives in Burlington my family finally decided to visit them. The only bad part about it is that I have to organize the whole trip because my parents are not that good in English and it’s easier to let their daughter do the work. My brother is the most exited because he never went to another continent and is constantly trying to help me organizing it. I think this is going to be the best family holiday we ever had!

The WWW is fascinating

There are almost no secrets in our modern World Wide Web. This is actually pretty scary due to the fact that everyone could read your data and for example what your name is or even worse, where you live. The Internet gives people like pedophiles easy access to child pornography or children themselves. Your photos could leaked and published and you wouldn’t even notice it! I use the Internet everyday and honestly don’t think about it much when typing in my debit card number. When I realize how I just throw my personal files into the Internet it makes me stop thinking and starts giving me goose bumps. So stay safe on the net, guys!

Our fucked up idea of beauty

Do you know what’s really weird? In movies every age group has the correct aged actors representing them. Every age group is like this except teenagers, which are played by adults. But why? I think the media wants to hide the fact that we go through puberty in our lives. We have pimples, ugly skin and are about to become an adult. The “perfect” teenager in movies gave me the feeling that I wasn’t good or pretty enough in my teens. This is one of the many examples how fucked up our society is by trying to cover up all natural things and replace them through lies and photoshop.

Escaping into another world?- No, thanks.

Hey guys! There is an particular topic I would like to talk about. Drugs. Not in a “Kids, drugs are bad for you!” way but telling you from my experience. The first two years of high school I never thought about drugs, alcohol or addiction. But then-you know- you want to join the mainstream and start drinking and smoking. It was always an extraordinary experience doing something “bad” and it was kind of cool. I really don’t hate on those who got first drunk when they were 15. Most of us did it because it was not permitted. My first bad experience with “hard” drugs was when I was at a festival. My friend and I camped with some guys we met there and got to see drug use from the nearest possible. One time two of our group got lost and we had to find them because they were tripping on “magic mushrooms”. There have been all kind of people being on some trip or smoking something weird. My worst experience was when drugs literally changed a friend of mine. His personality shaped and he wasn’t the nice guy I have known before.

I don’t think that drugs are the problem. If you are not strong enough or emotionally unstable you could easily get addicted. So don’t do drugs ;)

The new era of childcare

Finally the Constitutional Court passed a new law which allows homosexual couples to adopt children. But this decision divided the minds of our society. “The poor children” is a frequently heard phrase among homophobes which want to keep the picture of the traditional family. But how come that there are two persons who love each and want to share their love with a parentless child are so hated in our society? I would rather have a child live with a lovely same-sex couple than spend their life in a children’s home. People should stop thinking so controversial and being homophobic. It’s the 21^st century guys, grow up.
